Yup, and old school well directed movie with a good cast (aside of the main girl maybe), and solid characters.

Agreed, she was a little too one dimensional as the "Last chance for a good life" girl. The messed up drug addict sister was more interesting, but she didn't get much screen time either. I really enjoyed it also because it reminded me of living in Boston.

Was just rematching, and they really love their HK416 in that film, they use it like every shoot out.

Yeah I thought it was awesome too.

Especially the action towards the end, reminded me of Heat too, in a very good way.

About a week old, but Justified is back for a second season. It's probably my favorite police style show on right now, and has a great old west vibe, but set in the present. The lead Timothy Olyphant is amazing, really brings the modern day cowboy to life. Good amount of shooting in the show to, although it's mostly pistols.

+1 with Drifter, discovered it not so long ago, and enjoying it a lot so far. It's not super high level writing, but Olyphant holds the show together pretty well.

I didn't like Justified much, but Timothy Olyphant was fantastic in Deadwood, love his intense glare, lol.

Anyone watch Friday Night Lights? I just started watching it a few weeks ago but I'm up to season 4 now. Great show, very underrated. Any fans?

Really sad, he was very talented. He obviously had a passion for combat reporting and I hope his work in Lybia will see the light of day.

Reality TV + Special Forces = One Man Army

The challenges in the show are a little gimmicky, but the participants are legit PMC / SOP operators, mixed in with some LE and civvies. I recommend that at least you watch episode 1!

Chris Ryan's Strike Back season two has started. First two episodes were sufficiently over the top awesomeness for me.
