Is there anyone who are planning to go to SHOT SHOW 2011 in Las Vegas?

I'll go there from January 20th to 23rd.

@Ycare
Don't be afraid, I'm not planning to buy the real ACR. The main objective for this time is trip itself and collecting the info about A-TACS gears.

@Drifter
For this time, I'll actually accompany my father who has been dreaming to be there for a long time. So, we'll use the whole time there to look around the show. How about you if you'll go there, interested in casinos?

Nah, I don't like gambling, but the show has always looked pretty cool. Take lots of pictures, I'll have to settle for the youtube clips Tongue

I don't believe that the general public are even allowed to attend the event - you need to be in the industry. Ron - no need to explain yourself or your father in this public forum Wink but just FYI for everyone else if they are thinking of going.

My apologies, everyone. It would seem that I spoke too soon and what psycho said is correct. Here's the quote from the official website.

>Attendance RESTRICTED to the shooting, hunting and outdoor trade and commercial buyers and sellers of military, law enforcement and tactical products and services ONLY. NO one under age 16 admitted (including infants).

Ah, so it's an industry only event, that makes sense. Does my side job as a crime fighting vigilante count as law enforcement Big Grin

but... I was wondering about the presence of promotion model Big Grin (perhaps on magpul's booth?)

ace5kills - I thought bad times caused small numbers of booth bunnies, even if there was in magpul's booth. However there were many interesting stuff rather than gorgeous model.

Ycare - Hehehe... We have a good news! I luckily got a contact who will make arrangement for us to join SHOT SHOW in the future. From next year, we may go there if we have enough day-offs and money for a trip!

Due to a horrible flu I almost forget I have a souvenior from the show to you guys. It's a novelty ball point pen from Glock and I hope you'll like it.

But here's a problem that I could get only 15, although my father and I hit and leave their booth again and again while a stuff there was giving us a suspecious glance.

So I'll give this to you guys as first come, first served.

Please PM if you would like to get one.

FYI check it out in a pic attached please! ( Sorry, my memo pad as a foil is not included Big Grin )
